Our supply chain partner, M Hassan & Sons, developed the Transport NI concept design to provide a 44m span bow warren design steel footbridge, with rectangular hollow section members and circular hollow section top chord. The footbridge was manufactured off-site in three sections, and welded together on-site before being lifted into position. Handrails were fitted after the bridge was positioned, and an anti-slip surfacing was applied before opening the bridge to the public.
