Trainee Scheme
Our Undergraduate Trainee Scheme will give you an opportunity to train as a Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Construction Manager.
We offer a fully funded five-year scheme where you will will gain a nationally recognised qualification. As well as a competitive salary. Our programme is designed to give you the best mentored, relevant and practical experience on-site.

Summer
Placements
A summer placement with McLaughlin & Harvey will provide you with practical insight into construction and civil engineering. Allowing you to gain real experience out of the classroom environment.

The placement year is undertaken during your third year at university and typically starts anytime between June and September after your second year. We advertise our placements through our job opportunities page.

Core
Graduate Scheme
Our Core Graduate Scheme will give you the opportunity to develop in your chosen career. While also developing your leadership, professional and practical skills.
Open to graduates of civil engineering, quantity surveying, estimating, mechanical and electrical, or construction management.
Construction and civil engineering students should only apply if they are willing to travel and work away from home.
