The Old Brewery is one of South Bristol’s largest new developments.

Works include the construction of one hundred and seven new affordable one, two and three-bedroom homes using a combination of demolition, new build, and refurbishment.

The regeneration scheme also includes the adaptation and refurbishment of some of the original brewery buildings to retain the industrial heritage of the site.

Seven commercial spaces will be created, including the conversion of the original brewery manager’s house. These buildings will offer new services for the local community including food and drink outlets, offices and creative spaces.

Additionally, external works include road access alterations.

The site is significantly restricted and is surrounded by both residential and commercial neighbours in the heart of Southville, an inner-city ward of Bristol.

The management of neighbourly matters is extremely important to us so we appointed a Site Liaison Officer to lead all communications and neighbour engagement in conjunction with the Client.
