Refurbishment of Milngavie Primary School

Working for our client East Dunbartonshire Council, Milngavie Primary School is currently undergoing refurbishment works which include a full roof replacement including valleys, gutters and all sky lights, a full window replacement, the repair/reinstatement of stonework where poor condition is a contributing factor in water ingress to the buildings aswell as internal decoration.

Roof works are well underway with the roof tent in place.  The old roof structure has now been removed and made good. Slating works are nearing completion, helping to restore the building’s original character. Stonemasons have made excellent progress over recent months, undertaking specialist cleaning, repairs, and the replacement of deteriorated stonework. We hope you will already be seeing a noticeable improvement.

All windows are now fully installed allowing the site team to return to the classrooms and begin internal decoration works.

This project is being delivered vis the SCAPE Scotland framework and is due to be complete in Summer 2026.
