We work collaboratively with our supply chain and aim to establish and maintain long-term relationships.
We have built many major projects throughout the UK and Ireland, and the success of these have been centred around having a high-performing supply chain.
Our supply chain is robustly evaluated to ensure their competency; we only procure those who meet our company minimum standards.
Supply chain management
For our internal supply chain management, we use SCOPE, a portal bespoke to McLaughlin & Harvey which is linked to Constructionline, providing notification, check, approval and continuous review of subcontractors and suppliers. The system streamlines our process and reduces administration cost, whilst reducing risk of non-compliance of our supply chain. Regular checks are conducted on insurances, credit ratings, policies, order values / budgets, and amendments to terms and conditions. If requirements are not met, the organisation is notified of the action required, and the issue of order numbers and payments are placed on hold.

Constructionline
It is vital that we have an effective qualification process to ensure that all suppliers and subcontractors meet our minimum standards. McLaughlin & Harvey partner with Constructionline to provide a qualification solution for our business. Constructionline align with PAS 91; a standard pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI for the construction industry. To be an approved member of our supply chain we require your business to be verified with Constructionline; which must be kept up to date for the entire duration of your engagement with McLaughlin & Harvey.
