Principal contractor with joint venture partner Boskalis Westminster to carry out strengthening and deepening of quay walls within the port. As well as 430,556sqft land reclamation with revetment, widening of the harbour entrance, and demolition works. The harbour also benefited from significantly improved realignment to the existing quay walls and an increased draft facilitating larger vessels. McLaughlin & Harvey utilised an innovative approach to the works with the first use in the UK of an RD steel piling solution.
