Primary school pupils shine in Christmas competition

Date Posted 21.12.22

Our Bellshill office has been transformed in the run-up to Christmas with a colourful display of artwork from the pupils of North Lanarkshire Council’s Noble Primary School.

Pupils from all year groups in the school were invited to show off their creative skills and let their imagination run wild by drawing their own favourite thing about Christmas.

The competition proved a big hit with 150 entries being submitted to the dedicated post-box that was set up in the school. In a special ceremony at Noble Primary School, a winner from each year group was announced after being picked by a selection of employees at McLaughlin & Harvey.

Each winner received a £20 book token and a McLaughlin & Harvey goody bag.

A large selection of the pupils’ artwork will be on display in the reception area of the office for all employees and visitors to admire until January.

The children have really done their school proud. Our reception has been transformed and the wonderful drawings have really helped us get into the Christmas spirit. We’re pleased to have had such an outpouring of enthusiasm from children in our local community.
