Design & Build of Ayrshire College Kilmarnock Campus, involving the redevelopment of part of the former Diageo / Johnnie Walker Bottling Plant on Hill Street.

The 183,000sqft building is 4-storeys high providing all the facilitates expected in a modern, state of the art educational building with administrative and staff areas, teaching classrooms, HE and IT departments, technical workshops, music and drama, sports hall and MPH, changing rooms/showers and a full sized 3G soccer pitch.

Curtain walling, windows and doors were also supplied by our Frameworks division.

Community EngagementConsiderate Constructor’s Scheme

The site undertook various activities, led by our CCS Ambassador, to impact positively on the area and the surrounding community. Activities included 21 local workers employed, 6 work experience placements for out of work individuals; working with local Job Centre Plus along with facilitating 4 training courses on-site with 34 attendees and 4 supervisor training courses off-site. As well as, school visits, including local Onthank Primary School, Mount Carmel Primary School and Cairns Early Learning Centre.
