McLaughlin & Harvey has been appointed to the Port of Dover’s new Project Contractor Framework, creating further opportunities to support the Port’s long-term development plans.
McLaughlin & Harvey’s appointment covers Lot 2 – Berths & Marine, while WorkSpace, a specialist division within McLaughlin & Harvey, has been appointed a framework partner on Lot 4 – Building Fabric & Services.
Running until May 2032, the framework provides opportunities for both businesses to deliver future marine infrastructure and building projects, supporting the Port’s ongoing operations and long-term development.
The appointments follow the recent completion of the £53m Dover Western Docks Revival Stage 3B project, delivered by McLaughlin & Harvey in partnership with Boskalis Westminster.
The project created 10 hectares of new port land through extensive dredging and land reclamation works, alongside the delivery of new roads, utilities and supporting infrastructure.
The completed scheme supports the Port of Dover’s 2050 Masterplan, which sets out its vision to become the UK’s most seamless, sustainable and technology-enabled port. The masterplan identifies future investment opportunities across the Eastern Docks, Western Docks and Waterfront, with the new framework providing opportunities for both businesses to contribute to the Port’s ongoing development.
Following on from the successful completion of our Dover Western Docks Revival project for the Port of Dover we are pleased to announce that we have secured a place on the Port’s ‘Project Contractor Framework’ within Lot 2 Berths & Marine. We look forward to collaborating with the Port on their future marine developments.
