Our operations director (Civils), Adrian Pollock, has received the Outstanding Contributor award at the 2026 Northern Ireland Construction Awards.
Established by the Construction Employers Federation (CEF), the highly regarded awards bring the industry together to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations, recognising strong partnerships, pioneering projects and leading initiatives.
Adrian was recognised for his role in significant schemes across Northern Ireland, including our work with Translink and the restoration of the Gobbins Cliff Path, as well as his ability to problem-solve and implement new programmes to support a greener future.
As the primary contact for Translink, Adrian played a key role in achieving a place for McLaughlin & Harvey on Translink’s FW122 Permanent Way Major Projects Framework to support its delivery of capital and maintenance works over the next five years.
I’m honoured to have received the Outstanding Contributor award. In nearly two decades at McLaughlin & Harvey, I’ve had the privilege of working on some of our biggest civil engineering projects across Northern Ireland, building strong relationships with our clients and supply chain partners while helping support a greener transport network.
I’d like to thank the teams across McLaughlin & Harvey, our clients and everyone we’ve worked alongside for their hard work and support over the years, which has helped us successfully deliver so many projects together.

WorkSpace, a division of McLaughlin & Harvey, in partnership with Translink, was also shortlisted for Infrastructure Project of the Year for its delivery of the Translink Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Infrastructure Programme.
The project represents a landmark investment in sustainable public transport across Northern Ireland, spanning five major transport depots and culminating in the installation of new electric bus charging systems, supporting Northern Ireland’s journey to net zero.
Congratulations to all the nominees and winners; we enjoyed celebrating alongside others demonstrating construction excellence across Northern Ireland.
