New eighteen-storey contemporary office space at One Braham.
Design & build construction of a new eighteen-storey office building, providing 326,500 sqft of Grade A office space. Two restaurants were also provided on the ground floor along with a rooftop Winter Garden bar restaurant and roof terrace with amazing views across the city. A double-storey basement for car parking, plant and storage facilities was also provided.
The building, which houses BT Group’s global headquarters, has a contemporary office feel with exposed ceilings and integrated retail on the ground floor. A reinforced concrete shear was used to provide stability to the building while minimising the impact of the structure on the remainder of the floor plate to maximise the flexible design and open-plan nature of the building.
There was a high density of commercial occupiers near the site. The site was bound to the north by Braham Street Park, to the south by Camperdown Street, to the east by Leman Street and the west by Halfmoon Passage.
