Colleagues from McLaughlin & Harvey’s Bristol office took on the National Three Peaks Challenge, scaling the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) — all within 24 hours. The total walking distance of the challenge amounts to 23 miles, and the total ascent is 10,052ft.
The challenge was undertaken to raise funds and awareness for four incredible charities that hold special meaning for the team and their communities: Heart Heroes, The Jessie May Trust, Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Alzheimer Scotland.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support from our colleagues, as well as the supply chain of McLaughlin & Harvey. We set ourselves an ambitious target of £40,000 and have exceeded this and more!
The team showed great determination, hard work and team spirit throughout our training and on the challenge day. The mental resilience of everyone was amazing on the day and the weather was virtually perfect.

Their dedication and determination have raised a fantastic amount, which will go a long way in helping us support children living with heart conditions and their families. On behalf of everyone at Heart Heroes – thank you for undertaking this challenge to fundraise for us.
