Date Posted 26.11.25

McLaughlin & Harvey’s site team from our project with National Grid attended the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s (CCS) 2025 Grand Gala Awards on Friday 21st November at the Natural History Museum in London.

The gala awards celebrates the people, projects and companies raising the bar across the built environment. Whether it’s innovative thinking, extraordinary leadership, or transformative community work – the Grand Gala recognises those shaping the future of construction for the better.

McLaughlin & Harvey is honoured to have been awarded the Excellence in Construction Award (Tier 1).

We are also delighted to be celebrating the remarkable achievements of our colleagues Meg Smith, Liam Jackson and Chris O’Hagan, who have been recognised as Rising Stars. Congratulations to Meg, Liam and Chris.

It was a fantastic event in a beautiful venue, and I really enjoyed connecting with people from across our industry. I was delighted to receive a Rising Star Award alongside others in my project team. The excitement was even greater with the company award as well.

It was great to attend the CCS Gala and be recognised as a Rising Star. The venue was incredible, and with how busy the day-to-day work of a Site Manager can be, the opportunity to reflect and receive recognition was especially appreciated.
