Appointed by Evans Randall Investors, McLaughlin & Harvey will deliver the £70m main contract package at Thavies Inn House, London.
Architect Wilkinson Eyre designed the building as two nested forms, sitting on the southern side of Holborn Circus between New Fetter Lane and St Andrew Street.
The project will double the floorspace of the existing 10-storey building, providing a total of 90,000 sq ft of prime office space, with 2,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor.
“We’re thrilled to have been appointed for this redevelopment in one of London’s most prominent commercial locations. Collaborating closely with our partners, we look forward to bringing this exciting vision to life, delivering a landmark development that will leave a lasting positive impact on the City of London.”

McLaughlin & Harvey
Demolition has begun by Erith Contractors Ltd, with the McLaughlin & Harvey construction works starting on site in Q4 2026 after a period of pre-commencement.
“Starting on site is a clear statement of our confidence in the project and is good news for London’s occupational market and its continued appetite for best‑in‑class workspace. Occupiers are prioritising quality, location and amenity, and this scheme delivers all three.”
