Construction of a new 80,000sqft Tesco store 'on stilts', creating additional car parking at ground level to give a total of 900 spaces. The building comprised of a structural steel frame with a sustainable timber cladding external envelope. In addition to Tesco, the site includes a combination of new build retail units with other buildings being revitalised and retained for existing businesses. The curtain walling, fire rated windows, doors, auto doors, and glass canopies were also provided by our Frameworks division.
