Repairs to Loch Ryan Jetty which was damaged when a StenaLine Ferry struck a fender while docking during high winds, shearing the fender off the concrete upstand and the connecting pile from the jetty soffit. Repair works involved the removal of the damaged section of concrete upstand and deck using diamond wire cutting and hydrodemolition, as well as the damaged pile at seabed level. A new fender sleeve was installed with two new driven piles, before the concrete deck was reinstated and the fender reinstalled. All works were carried out between daily sailings of the StenaLine Cairnryan - Belfast sailings.
