Construction of a new facility that will provide a positive, supported learning environment for pupils aged 4-18 years with additional support needs.
Works include steel frame building enclosed with traditional brickwork, larch boarding and glazed fronts, roofed with a mixture of zinc and wildflower roofing to fit into the sensitive natural beauty area.
There is an expansive landscaped area to aid the needs of the children and the school’s adaptiveness into the local environment.
Facilities include a swimming pool, specific sensory rooms for the pupils, as well as quiet / chill rooms to allow for relaxation.
This project is being delivered as part of City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) Contractor Works Framework.
