Refurbishment and fit-out of all floors of the 23,000sqft eight-storey unoccupied commercial office premises at 131 St Vincent Street.
Refurbishment of the existing office space included strip-out of existing finishes and services, installation of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, new toilet facilities, new glazed partition systems, new metal stud partitions, suspended ceilings, and floor finishes.
Works also included minor repairs and cleaning of the existing building structure.
This project was fast tracked so that the three hundred staff of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport could relocate to this new facility on the set date which we achieved.
The front of the building was on a busy one-way street without loading or stopping areas. Our dedicated holding area was located next to our head office which was in close proximity to the site. This was utilised to store materials which were brought to site at a more convenient time of the day when traffic through the city centre was light.
