First project constructed as part of Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth Games programme.
Redevelopment involved the construction of a rugby and athletics stadium at the existing Scotstoun facility that caters for both elite performers and members of the local community.
Works incorporate two new stands with indoor running track, fitness suites, offices, and associated external works.
Externally, the project included a 400m IAAF championship standard running track with full associated athletics facilities.
The main stand provides an unrestricted view for all spectators due to the cantilever design, with media facilities located higher up to offer a finer perspective.
As the construction was nearing completion and the internal fit-out progressing, the stadium became the new base for Glasgow Warriors Rugby Club. We were able to accommodate a reconfigured layout and services installation of the partially completed rooms at short notice to create a new layout with fully equipped Pullum strength and conditioning suite to suit the Warriors needs.
