Fabrication and installation of a new pontoon.
The steel floating pontoon is 24m in length and 4m wide with an access gangway installed from the existing jetty to the pontoon.
The pontoon was equipped with steel fenders and mooring points.
Feature of ProjectOperational Site
It was a requirement that the lifeboat berth was to remain operational throughout the works. Following pontoon installation there was a seamless transition from existing to the new berth in a single operation.
