Fast-track fit-out over 2 floors of a 130,000sqft shell within the live Vangarde Retail Park.

Works were carried out over two floors and facilities include food hall including deli and bakery, 173 seat customer café to overlook the Park’s conversation area and offer panoramic views of York Minster, a 18,000sqft womenswear department, 14,700sqft home department, and 1,500sqft beauty department.

Feature of projectM&S Plan A

As part of M&S’ Plan A strategy, which is their eco and ethical programme aimed at making stores more sustainable, the project is one of M&S’ Sustainable Learning Stores. The carbon-neutral store includes two green living walls, 600 photovoltaic solar panels on the roof, carbon dioxide refrigeration and natural daylighting techniques.
