Fast-track fit-out over two floors of a 130,000sqft shell within the live Vangarde Retail Park.

Works were carried out over two floors and facilities include food hall including deli and bakery, one hundred and seventy-three seat customer café to overlook the Park’s conversation area and offer panoramic views of York Minster, a 18,000sqft womenswear department, 14,700sqft home department, and 1,500sqft beauty department.

Feature of projectM&S Plan A

As part of M&S’ Plan A strategy, which is their eco and ethical programme aimed at making stores more sustainable, the project is one of M&S’ Sustainable Learning Stores. The carbon-neutral store includes two green living walls, six hundred photovoltaic solar panels on the roof, carbon dioxide refrigeration and natural daylighting techniques.
