Moira Railway Station Footbridge

Construction of a new single span steel footbridge with bespoke cladding and access steps to replace the pedestrian level crossing at Moira Station.

Works included a platform extension to accommodate the new bridge which was installed in a single overnight possession.

We were responsible for design elements, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of a new footbridge at Moira Station, spanning twin track railway on the main Belfast to Dublin railway line.

Mini-piles for the bridge foundations were installed on the railway platform and the platforms were also extended. Associated works included installation of ducts and cabling, fencing, gates and surfacing works.
