Design & build of a new three-storey primary and nursery school adjacent to the existing live school.
Learning accommodation included fourteen general classrooms, practical classrooms, a sports hall, early years centre and an outdoor MUGA sports pitch.
It also had a centre for children with severe and complex additional support needs including sensory rooms and therapy facilities.
On decant to the new building, the old school was demolished.
Community EngagementConsiderate Constructor’s Scheme
The site undertook various activities, led by our CCS Ambassador, to impact positively on the area and the surrounding community. Activities included the pupils signing the steel columns to leave a legacy, and the ceation of sixteen temporary jobs, work experience for two unemployed people and two students from the local college.
