Construction of a new 33,207sqft recycling area with adjoining two-storey accommodation supplying 9,580sqft of office and welfare facilities.
The office and welfare facilities provide a rest room, male and female changing areas and showers, storage and plant rooms, offices and a meeting room, as well as a viewing gallery into the recycling centre.
External facilities include a weighbridge, an area for vehicle cleaning and a re-fuelling point with above ground tanks for diesel fuel.
Alterations were also carried out in the adjacent live recycling centre.
