Last week, our sites took part in Stop. Make a Change, an annual event with participants across UK construction, infrastructure and the built environment.
At the heart of this year's campaign was a focus on encouraging everyone who works in the construction industry to re-engage with their own health, safety and wellbeing and to consider what actions they can take to bring about a change.
This is our sixth year taking part in the campaign, and this year’s topics included working at height, people and plant interface, mental health and workplace stress, manual handling, and cancer and diabetes.
It has been very encouraging to hear of the numbers of people attending the stand down sessions which our project teams arranged and delivered, each in the own meaningful way.
