Next week, our You Matter Health and Wellbeing Roadshow will be taking to the roads again and we’re encouraging our employees and subcontractors to “Get on Board”! This year the tour will be covering more sites than ever with the help of Clarity, our occupational health practitioners.
The roadshow first started in 2006 and has become an industry-leading health and wellbeing initiative supporting staff, subcontractors, the client and the communities in which we work. Last year the Occupational Health Practitioner met with 459 employees and 648 employees used the Health Check Point equipment.
Many colleagues work away from home and do not get an opportunity to regularly see the doctor or visit the Health Centre to get a health check-up. By bringing the bus to our sites, we give them this opportunity.
Regardless of whether you are site-based or office-based, by attending the roadshow, you will have the opportunity to get:
- A blood pressure check
- A BMI check
- Health Check Point (height, weight, BMI)
- A cholesterol check
- A diabetes check
- Free advice on healthy eating, stress, lifestyle etc.
- Free McLaughlin & Harvey goodies
- A stress-relieving massage
The double-decker bus will be visiting our larger sites whilst a fleet of Clarity mobile medical units will be visiting our smaller locations.
