Earlier this month, we were delighted to welcome this year’s intake of graduates and trainees to our Belfast and Glasgow offices.
With roles spanning across the business from civil engineering to business development, the sixteen graduates and trainees took part in a week long induction before moving on-site or into the office.
The graduate scheme, which runs for three years in total, has been shaped to help our graduates develop their skills and abilities in their chosen field and prepare them for future leadership positions in McLaughlin & Harvey. As well as receiving mentoring through our “buddy” system, they will also complete an ILM Level 3 course to strengthen their leadership skills.
As part of our four-year trainee scheme, our trainees will attend their chosen university one day a week and spend the other four gaining practical experience on-site or in the office. Each of our trainees is supported by a McLaughlin & Harvey mentor who will help facilitate their course related and work-based learning.
