McLaughlin & Harvey is delighted to reaffirm our commitment towards sustainability by becoming a member of The International Passive House Association (iPHA) and The Passivhaus Trust (PHT).
iPHA is an international network of Passive House stakeholders including architects, planners, scientists, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and property developers. It works to promote the Passive House Standard and foster a greater public understanding of its significance. Passive House stands for healthy, comfortable living and impressive energy efficiency, regardless of the regional climate.
PHT provides leadership in the UK for the adoption of the Passivhaus standard and methodology. The Trust aims to promote Passivhaus as a highly effective way of providing high standards of occupant comfort and health as well as reducing energy use and carbon emissions from buildings in the UK.
We look forward to realising the benefits that Passivhaus standard brings to construction projects, whilst working with our clients, colleagues and supply chain partners, to raise awareness and ambition for the journey towards net zero carbon building.
