The Water of Leith Walkway (Pansy Walk), a section of works at our Water of Leith Flood Prevention Scheme, has been opened six months ahead of schedule.
Pansy Walk is an essential part of daily life for many of the residents, as it provides access to local shops and schools. The walkway was closed last July for construction of the new flood walls and pathways, which meant the residents had an extended walk following our walkway diversion.
We would like to take this time to thank the residents for their continued support through the works and hope they enjoy their new walkway.
Works on the Water of Leith Flood Prevention Scheme Phase 2 at Murrayfield Stadium are progressing well and on schedule for completion in January 2018.
