We were delighted to be invited to the Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE) celebration of ‘Helping Great Britain Work Well’ (HGBWW) Commitments at the Imperial War Museum.
HSE launched the HGBWW strategy 9 months ago and since then has heard many excellent examples of the activities and commitments being made to help improve health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
McLaughlin & Harvey Construction Managing Director, Barclay Chalmers, represented the business and was joined at the event by leading industry figures. The event, which was attended by HSE Chair, Martin Temple, HSE Chief Executive, Richard Judge, and Government Minister responsible for Health & Safety, Penny Mordaunt MP, showcased a varied range of contributions that organisations and businesses are making to help deliver the strategy and shine a spotlight on how stakeholders are embracing key themes.
Barclay is photographed with Rolls Royce representative, Wayne Hart. In discussion with Wayne, the intention is to deliver a joint initiative in early 2017 on a project for Rolls Royce in Washington.
