McLaughlin & Harvey has been appointed main contractor of the Equine Diagnostics, Surgical & Critical Care Unit (EDSCCU) project at the University of Edinburgh’s Easter Bush Campus in Edinburgh.
The project will comprise the construction of an Equine Diagnostics, Surgical & Critical Care Unit along with upgrades to the existing Equine Hospital.
The new facility consists of four integral parts, namely: a specialised diagnostics and triage area for evaluating emergency cases; two state of the art operating theatres plus a new standing surgery suite; a dedicated critical care unit comprising of six suites; and support space, to deliver on-site teaching and education for students as well as supporting clients.
