McLaughlin & Harvey have successfully handed over the completed Triangle Housing Association Offices located in Ballymoney.
The project, managed by Contracts Manager Liam Clarke, Project Manager Mark Brady, and Site Manager Brian Ferris, involved the demolition of an existing two storey office block, the refurbishment of an old stone barn building, and the construction of a new three storey office block.
The site was also registered as part of our ongoing commitment to the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme. Newsletters were distributed regularly to inform the local school and residents of the ongoing construction work. The school also received a bird bath as part of McLaughlin & Harvey’s contribution to the local environment. As the works continued over the Easter holiday, residents were gifted with Easter eggs, flowers and seeds.
The CCS monitor of the site commented:
“This is a very compact site on a very confined area located in a well-established residential area. The site has taken first-class measures to maintain appearances and to be discreet as a good neighbour…The interface with the community is comprehensive with nice looking newsletters which are compact and relevant. Good contact maintained also with the local school and site provided relevant gifts to its neighbours at Easter time.”
We enjoyed working on this project with Triangle Housing Association, and would like to thank the surrounding school and residents for their continued patience during the project.
