Top Energy Efficiency award for McL&H

McLaughlin & Harvey were thrilled to beat off stiff competition to pick up the top Energy Efficiency Award 2013 at the annual Sustainable Ireland Awards.

Our Environment / Quality Manager Richard Robinson and Environmental Officer Charlene Jones were presented with the much coveted award, sponsored by Williams Industrial Services.

Since the launch of our Sustainable Business Strategy in 2006 we have striven to set an example for the construction industry to follow, through best practice in sustainable environmental management, with the aim of becoming the most sustainable contractor in Ireland and beyond.

At the centre of our strategy is a real commitment to reduce our impact on climate change and to positively influence our supply chain, staff, competitors and clients to do the same.

This award therefore recognises our Company’s continuing commitment and passion in promoting more energy efficient and sustainable ways of working.

Congratulations to all other winners and nominees on the night, at what turned out to be an excellent ceremony.
