McLaughlin & Harvey have recently started works to enhance the teaching facilities at Fettes College, Edinburgh.
The £7million project is divided into two phases which are running simultaneously.
Phase 1 involves the creation of a new purpose built four-storey classroom, with basement construction for plant storage. We are currently on-site drilling the new piles for the post-tensioned (PT) frame construction.
Phase 2 involves the refurbishment of the existing North Building. We are currently progressing with demolitions and soft strip out. Scaffolding has also been erected to allow the windows to be refurbished, the stonework to be repaired, and the roof tiling to be replaced.
