Ayrshire College’s Kilmarnock Campus has opened its doors with the first students starting their courses this week.

The new build state-of-the-art campus, which involved the redevelopment of part of the former Diageo / Johnnie Walker Bottling Plant on Hill Street, provides all the facilitates expected in a modern, state of the art educational building with administrative and staff areas, teaching classrooms, HE and IT departments, technical workshops, music and drama, sports hall and MPH, changing rooms / showers and a full sized 3G soccer pitch.

The 183,000sqft building also offers the wider community a restaurant and beauty salon, run by the students, as well as event space and sports facilities.
