Design & Build contract for demolition of the existing jetty, construction of a new cruise passenger terminal on a suspended deck structure at the Princes Jetty site and the erection of a vehicular linkspan bridge and pedestrian bridge / walkway to connect the new terminal to the existing landing stage. It will be constructed on two floors; the ground floor being the Baggage Hall and entrance lobby, and the first floor will include the passenger lounge, check-in area and café. We will also undertake improvements to Princes Parade to incorporate pedestrian crossing facilities, provision of terminal parking, pickup and drop off facilities, and supporting development. The new terminal will be connected by a pedestrian and vehicular linkspan bridge to the existing cruise ship landing stage. This will enable the world’s largest cruise ships (up to 3,600 passengers to embark and disembark at Liverpool and is expected to directly create more than 500 new jobs.
